Outlook says connected but not updating
It has a domain controller, two Exchange 2013 servers, a load balancer and two client machines.All testing I am performing is on intranet and no internet simulation or remote client scenarios are going to be tested.When it is not, it usually is synching additional mailbox information and data such as the folder hierarchy, Views or Quick Steps.It also only displays “To monitor Outlook’s synching processing more closely, you can open the Microsoft Exchange Connection Status dialog.However, if we use the webmail that we have in place, they can see the incoming emails without any problems. You can create a new profile too which might be better for testing purposes since you can just go back to the old profile if it doesn't help."Pegasus (MVP)" I am having the same exact problem here, for one of my users, they were on 2000 outlook, i upgraded and removed profile and added it back after installing 2003 and it worked fine.
To be exact, I have created a new profile and kept it to download but still the problem persists. I can assure there's no issue as other users are able to communicate without any issues. No new mail activities or even download progress on Inbox, but the other folders at least updating upon selecting.
